Argentina Citizenship by Investment Family Members
The October 2, 2026 announcement states additional National Treasury contributions for some family members of a principal applicant. The investment-naturalization provision remains distinct from temporary or permanent residence. Decree 524/2025 itself does not set these family figures.
The announced contribution amounts are:
- Spouse: additional $100,000 Treasury contribution.
- Qualifying children ages 18 to 25: additional $100,000 contribution. The announcement states that this category applies to unmarried children who do not have children of their own.
- Children under 18: additional $25,000 contribution.
A government example for a principal applicant, a spouse, and two children under 18 on the contribution route is $500,000. That example uses the $350,000 principal contribution plus the spouse and under-18 amounts above. It is not the cost for every family, and it is not the public-bond route. These announced amounts are not a guarantee of approval, and they do not mean every relative qualifies.
Government applications are not yet confirmed as open. The October 2 announcement is the first-party summary. Principal routes are on the investment requirements page.
