Can I travel visa-free with Argentine residency?
No. Argentine residency is not an Argentine passport. Visa-free travel follows the passport the traveler already holds, not a residence permit.
An Argentine passport is a separate document. The Henley Passport Index edition dated 13 April 2026 ranks it 15th, with a visa-free score of 168. Henley counts destinations that do not require a prior visa. The score includes visa-free entry, visa on arrival, and an electronic travel authorization. It is not a count of visa-free entry alone. It is not a right that comes with Argentine residency. It is not a benefit of an investment-naturalization application. Government applications are not yet confirmed as open. See program status.
